Stout with locally foraged oranges, Twenty-Four Blackbirds cacao nibs, and Madagascar vanilla beans 9.0% ABV | 500ml
We spent hours (HOURS!) trolling through the backyards of of our friends houses all over Santa Barbara county collecting oranges for this beer. Several hundred pounds in tow, we zested them, juiced them, ate a few of them, and added everything we could to our rich dark stout. Then, at some point before the beer went into the bottle, we added cacao nibs from our good buddies at Twenty-Four Blackbirds Chocolate along with a heap of vanilla beans. The resulting beer is Walkabout and it is super. SUPER!
